Attire: Like most marines, Victoria is usually seen wearing an uniform. She prefers to wear a long and thick black coat with a raised collar and white cuffs. It’s secured in place with a brown belt that also has a holster on the left side for her revolver. The standard, white shirt for marines is hidden underneath it. Her pants are gray and loose-fitting, resembling cargo pants with the ends tucked into her sturdy, black boots. White gloves and two spade-shaped hair accessories to keep her hair in a tidy ponytail complete the attire. During assignments she also carries a gray messenger bag that has straps for her shotgun.

Abnormalities: Her presence is marked by faint, but permanent smells of dust, gunpowder and lingering smoke. Even humans can notice the scent of destruction that sticks to her clothes.

Born as the first and only child of humble marine Conrad Locke and a tough bartender Eleanor Locke, Victoria Locke grew up in an average if bit strict home. Her father was a very methodical man who kept marine standards even at home and it was a small miracle how her mother put up with it all. In any case, both of them had great influence on Victoria. She took after her father when it came to pastimes, but after her mother when it came to behavior. During school years she wanted to spend time playing sports rather than studying or fooling with boys. However, her father’s firm discipline got her through studies with above average grades.

Victoria enlisted to at the age of 18 and has served on marines ever since. It was her father’s suggestion and even Victoria herself was curious to see what it was all about. Like all of her peers, she learned how to handle various firearms, fight at different ranges and swim with full equipment. She managed well and even gained recognition for her skills during physical training. After the basic training was over, her squad was sent to support more experienced troops in a small incident against some pirates. That assignment was a minor one and Victoria’s involvement was limited to supply line protection, but she enjoyed it nonetheless.

Years passed by with one assignment after another, but not all of them went well. Victoria’s father lost his life in a pirate ambush. She mourned for a while, but eventually found peace in belief that her father had gone down in a blaze of glory and died with honor. Her mother encouraged her to continue as a marine without getting caught up in something as petty as revenge. The experience was the final point in turning her into the hardened and diligent soldier she is today. She has dedicated her life to serving the World Government and spends her free time preparing for her next assignment.

• ⚔ Model 1887 - Her primary weapon is a 12 gauge lever-action shotgun. It is 39 inches long with the 30 inch barrel forming most of that. The stock and side pieces are wooden while the lever, magazine and barrel are gray steel. It can hold five shots in a tubular magazine plus one in the chamber and requires a lever crank after each shot. While the shotgun looks bit worn-out, it’s in perfect working condition and packs a much bigger punch than most rifles at the price of shorter effective range.
  
  
• ⚔ Equalizer - As a back-up weapon she uses a modified Remington 1858 Revolver. In appearance, it follows the appearance of her Model 1887 with wooden handle and gray steel parts. However, in functions it’s practically the polar opposite, hence the nickname Equalizer. This gun has a great accuracy at the price of lower damage. It can hold ten rounds instead of the traditional six, but the rounds are smaller caliber due to size restrictions. Even average humans can easily survive getting shot and only receive painful wounds as long as the bullets don’t hit anything absolutely vital.
  
  
• ⚔ Sacrifice - This is a simple black vest that she keeps hidden under her clothes. It is filled with thin and light plastic explosives that resemble white slabs. The detonator is only a tiny, black, plastic handle with a red button on the top and connected to the vest from the bottom with a black, curly cable. In order to prevent accidents, the red button is covered by a hard, clear cap that has to be flipped up before the button can be used. Pushing it primes the bombs and releasing it detonates the vest.
  
  When the vest is detonated, a shockwave damages everything around her in a large radius. This weapon can only be used once in a fight and has to be replaced in a trip to a marine base before it can be used again. After using it, she is rendered unable to fight for at least three days, more if she was already injured before using it. Seriously damaging the vest, like slashing it into pieces with a sword, doesn’t set it off, but renders it unusable even if the bombs were already primed. Same happens if the detonator is destroyed.
  
  
• ⚔ Retribution - Marine R&D has given Victoria a new gatling rifle prototype to wield. She has affectionately named it Retribution. It is 41 inches long and weighs only bit more than an average rifle thanks to the light materials used. The base and stock are dark wood, the same as with standard rifles. However, instead of a single barrel, it has a rotating cluster of eight, bronze-colored barrels. The rounds are loaded in from the left side with a belt system. Victoria carries it around with a shoulder strap.
  
  Retribution has certain advantages over a standard rifle. It features a far greater rate of fire while the belt feed system negates the need of reloading. Each shot holds the power and speed of a high-caliber rifle round. Sustained fire can quickly get through even thick defenses. Lastly, it has somewhat longer effective range than most rifles, making it very effective at providing suppressive fire.
  
  Unfortunately, the prototype also has certain design flaws. Despite the relatively light weight, it’s still cumbersome to aim. The gun isn’t quite as accurate as a standard rifle and high rate of fire also brings heavy recoil. Victoria has to stop and steady herself while firing if she wishes to hit anything. Also, it takes few seconds after pulling the trigger before the gun reaches full firing speed.

• ▶ Evasive Maneuvers - As long as her feet are working, she’s able to roll, jump and side flip around with ease regardless of what weapon she is carrying. Her constant training and naturally limber body ensures that she doesn’t even have to watch where she’s jumping in order to land on her feet. However, her reaction and movement speed are still limited by her human body.
  
  
• ▶ Rapid Reload - To compensate for her itchy trigger finger, she has learned all about guns and trained her dexterity obsessively. As a result, she reloads and prepares any gun three times faster than her fellow marines. Catching her off-guard while she’s reloading is nearly impossible for an average human, but high-speed movement techniques still surprise her.
  
  
• ▶ Gunslinger’s Flow - Intense focus combined with an adrenaline rush drives her into a bloodthirsty trance. Her reaction time, movement speed and aiming skills are temporarily lifted above human limits. Additionally, it blocks all pain and mental interference for the duration. Lasts for two posts and takes another two posts to recharge.
  
  
• ▶ Slow But Steady - Years of service and training have granted her a passive ability to make every shot count during difficult situations. Danger drives her to focus even better. As her movement speed decreases due to injuries, fatigue or other reasons, her accuracy and stability increase drastically. If she can't move her feet or dodge at all, her aim starts bordering supernatural and she becomes able to track things that move at superhuman speeds. She can only see such fast opponents as blurred shapes, but is generally able to keep them in her sights.
  
  
• ▶ Catch A Bullet - Victoria mentally prepares herself and stays by an ally to guard them with her life. For four posts, she attempts to block or withstand all attacks directed at them. She also gets an adrenaline boost that blocks pain for the duration, allowing her to keep moving and react quickly even while injured. Her stubborn spirit and absolute loyalty keep her going regardless of her physical condition, but she’ll collapse right after if her injuries are too severe. Even if she can fight afterwards, it’ll take another four posts before she can steel herself again.
