If you don't see it on the list, don't fret, just ask staff. But don't push it, either. You can also submit custom races for staff to review. The race needs to have fairly detailed information on appearance and abilities to even be considered. If staff like the idea and agree it can be regulated and not over powered it'll be added to the list. [break][break] And remember, individuals almost always vary from the race generalizations. So don't make a carbon copy of what is listed, but also don't make the character too different or it won't fit into the race.
[attr="id","blokMain"] [attr="class","temBlok"] [attr="class","temTitle"]Restriction Rankings [attr="class","temWrap"] [attr="class","temSect"]Unrestricted Anyone can make a character of this race at any time. There will never be a ban on these races because they're just that common. [break][break] [attr="class","temSect"]Limited If there are too many of this race as compared to other races there will be a temporary ban on these races. [break][break] [attr="class","temSect"]Creator Permission This means you must get written (typed) permission from the creator of the race to be able to make one. Staff will check with the creator to make sure no one tries to get a race they're not allowed to have. This ranking only applies to the custom races staff has approved. [break][break] [attr="class","temSect"]Staff Permission This means you must get written (typed) permission from one of the site admins to be able to make a character of this race. This applies to certain races that need to fit a specific personality or ones that have special traits that define it. [break] [attr="class","temSect"]Special Abilities While demihuman abilities can cover a massive spectrum, certain tribes have particular features. Longlegs have, as the name says, very long legs, which are usually very well-toned and muscular. Longarms have incredibly long arms, bearing two elbows, which are often rather thin and lithe, but can be trained to have thick muscles. Snakenecks have long, serpentine necks with addition vertebrae and strong muscles, allowing them to hold their heads upright, or to move their necks like their namesake serpents, while they also tend towards being rather tall and narrow. Kuja are inherently attractive to those with male genetics, regardless of either the male's or the Kuja's sexual preference, and are inherently female when born on Amazon Lily. Males born to Kuja are not considered to be truly Kuja, and are deemed as halfbloods, while females are always considered full Kuja, regardless of the father's race. Finally, the Three-Eyed Tribe has a very unique ability, with their third eye giving them an "enlightened" nature that allows them to hear "The Voice of All Things". Unfortunately, this power is greatly diminished in hybrids, often to complete nonexistence, rendering them merely a three-eyed member of their other parent race. [break][break] [attr="class","temSect"]Physical Traits Demihumans encompass numerous human-like nonhuman species, including the Longarm Tribe, the Longleg Tribe, the Snakeneck Tribe, the Three-Eyed Tribe, and the Kuja Tribe. In addition, most hybrids fall under the demihuman umbrella. The primary exceptions are Wotans, which fall under Seafolk. [break][break] [attr="class","temSect"]Common Enemies Varies. Many demihumans are highly valued as slaves. [break] [attr="class","temSect"]Special Abilities Natural superhuman strength, able to cross large distances quickly due to leg length. [break][break] [attr="class","temSect"]Physical Traits Incredibly large, males tend to be rotund and bulky, females look much like human females, but are almost invariably busty and generally shapely, but often with heavily toned muscle befitting a member of a warrior race. [break][break] [attr="class","temSect"]Common Enemies Other giants, slave traders [break][break] [attr="class","temSect"]History Giants have a long and storied tradition, a race of warriors from the land of Elbaf, a massive island perfectly to scale with its inhabitants. Throughout history, Giant leaders have been decided through combat, and they have had very rocky relations with other races, who see the large people as intimidating. [break][break] [attr="class","temSect"]Culture The Giants' culture resembles that of vikings, with tribal leaders decided by combat, and often with raids and wars and pillaging, rarely, if ever, fought with guns. When not in battle, they often spend time crafting with leather and fur and hide, and figuring out ways to make their battles more spectacular. [attr="id","blokLast"] [attr="class","temBlok"] [attr="class","temTitle"]Unlimited [attr="class","temWrap"] Giants can have various Racial Abilities, and have four total slots shared between Abilities and Racial Abilities. [break] [attr="class","temSect"]Special Abilities Able to breath underwater, Fishmen have superhuman strength, Merfolk have superhuman speed in water. [break][break] [attr="class","temSect"]Physical Traits Varies depending on the species of fish, but Merfolk appear almost entirely human from the waist up, occasionally with the exception of their mouth, whereas Fishmen are humanoid with features of the fish throughout the entire body. [break][break] [attr="class","temSect"]Common Enemies Humans, especially slavers. [break][break] [attr="class","temSect"]History The Seafolk, for much of recorded history, have kept almost entirely to themselves under the waves, distancing themselves from "Surface" culture. The reason for this is that, the few times that the Seafolk have attempted to mingle with the Surface dwellers, especially the humans of the World Government, they were seen as a novel commodity rather than as people, and many were captured and sold as pets, toys, or, in rare and horrid occasions, even as delicacies. Because of these atrocities, the rulers of Fishman Island, the Ryugu Kingdom, declared that the island will remain isolated, and only permit travelers for a span of no more than three days. [break][break] [attr="class","temSect"]Culture The Seafolk have a unique culture among the humanoid races of the world, sustained by their aquatic breathing. The island is divided into various districts, many reachable only via their "Aqua Roads". Because of their history, Seafolk tend to be very distant, often reacting with disgust, fear, or hatred to Surface humanoids. Among their kind, they are incredibly sociable, but they unconsciously end up reinforcing their prejudices upon the younger generation, leading to a cycle of hatred. Some Seafolk, however, manage to befriend certain Surface-dwellers, and will generally have a better opinion on them compared to others. [attr="id","blokLast"] [attr="class","temBlok"] [attr="class","temTitle"]Unlimited [attr="class","temWrap"] Both can breathe underwater without using a racial slot, Fishmen get super strength without a racial slot, Merfolk get super speed without a racial slot, though it only applies when in the water.

[nospaces] [attr="id","infoTem"] [attr="id","blokTitle"] [attr="class","temBlok"] [attr="class","temTitle"]Sky Folk (Skypeians, Shandians, and Birkans) [attr="id","blokMain"] [attr="class","temBlok"] [attr="class","temTitle"]General Information [attr="class","temWrap"] [attr="class","appIndent"] [break]Average Height Range: 4-6 feet (Skypeian), 5-8 feet (Shandian), 4.5-7 feet (Birkan) [break]Average Weight Range: 60-120 lbs. (Skypeian), 85-200 lbs. (Shandian), 70-150 lbs. (Birkans) [break]Average Life Expectancy: 150 years (All) [break]Native To: The White Sea
[break] [attr="class","temSect"]Special Abilities All Sky Folk have small wings on their back, which they can grow to full size at will. These wings enable flight, but require a large amount of space to function properly. [break][break] [attr="class","temSect"]Physical Traits As above, all Sky Folk have the wings. In addition, Skypeians' hair raises up into the bulbs, somewhat like the shape of a giraffe's horns, atop their head. Shandians, on the other hand, have a much more tanned skin tone than other Sky Folk. Finally, Birkans oft have dreadlocks, though not always, and their hair has feathers mixed in naturally. [break][break] [attr="class","temSect"]Common Enemies Blue Sea dwellers [break][break] [attr="class","temSect"]History The Sky Folk, for many centuries, have lived in relative peace among the clouds. Over the years, as trade with the Blue Sea down below started to grow, the Sky Folk became unnaturally suspicious of their "neighbors", seeing the Blue Sea dwellers as savages and below them, but mostly biting their tongues for the sake of trade. In the modern day, many of the older Sky Folk still hold these ill feelings, though the younger generations feel no animosity towards the Blue Sea folks, and often even intermarry with them. [break][break] [attr="class","temSect"]Culture The Sky Folk maintained themselves as a relatively self-sufficient society. The Skypeians serve as the de facto ruling class, with the leader of all of the Sky Folk referred to as "God", while the Shandians serve as hunters and warriors, and the Birkans as their workers, mainly in construction and engineering. Farm work is generally left to the lower class Skypeians, who actually enjoy maintaining the farms, as many of them have natural green thumbs. [attr="id","blokLast"] [attr="class","temBlok"] [attr="class","temTitle"]Limited [attr="class","temWrap"] All Sky Folk can fly. This does not count as a racial, unless they have some special trait associated with it, such as especially large or small wings, or damaged wings, or such.

[nospaces] [attr="id","infoTem"] [attr="id","blokTitle"] [attr="class","temBlok"] [attr="class","temTitle"]Mink [attr="id","blokMain"] [attr="class","temBlok"] [attr="class","temTitle"]General Information [attr="class","temWrap"] [attr="class","appIndent"] [break]Average Height Range: Normal Mink are anywhere from 2-15 feet, Yeti are 13-25 feet, and Centaurs are from 4-10 feet. [break]Average Weight Range: Anywhere from 30 lbs to 800 lbs, depending on the animal. Yeti often weigh far more. [break]Average Life Expectancy: 100-300 years, and varies wildly within this range [break]Native To: Regular Mink live anywhere with a deep, thick forest, though some brave to mingle with the other races, while Yeti are found in deep frozen tundras, and Centaurs on wide open plains. The Mink also have a central country, known as Zou, which resides on the back of a giant eternal elephant named Zunisha.
[break] [attr="class","temSect"]Special Abilities Wildly variable, as they depend on the animal nature of the individual, though a great many have sharp claws and fangs to defend themselves. In addition, all Mink have very strong senses, many times those of normal Humans, significant levels of durability, strength, and agility, and an inherent skill in stealth and stalking. In addition, Mink, as well as hybrids of them, have an ability called Electro, which amplifies the bioelectric energy of the body into a weaponized form, and channels mostly through fur and hair, though it can be channeled without it, and this power gives them a modicum of resistance against electrical attacks, though something as strong as a direct unfiltered power current or a strike of lightning will still cause significant damage. [break][break] The most powerful ability of the Mink bloodlines, known as Su Long, has three distinct forms between the subraces. For regular Mink, this takes the form of a "combat state" that whitens the hair and fur, causes their hair and tail to grow out substantially, and tones and defines the body into a more "perfected" form. The final step is the sclera of the eyes turning black, and the irises a bright burning red. In this form, a single Mink with even moderate training can demolish a fleet of ships singlehandedly. For Centaurs, they take a form wherein another pair of legs form roughly midway down their animal torso, and another pair of arms form below their normal arms, while their hair and tail grow as the regular Mink's does. Finally, the Su Long of the Yeti is a thing of terror, a form in which the Yeti's massive form and might is compressed into a smaller form, not much bigger than the average human, with much less fur coverage of their bodies, with the remaining fur being very dense and plush. Their physical might is amplified by this compression, giving them strength as if you scaled up a Dwarf, and making their Electro much more potent, but with the cost of burning through an insane amount of energy and almost invariably eating away at least a year of their lifespan. Curiously, it's almost universally noted that a Yeti undergoing Su Long is remarkably attractive, regardless of what they normally look like. However, Su Long isn't by any means something most Mink want to use. Even the most skilled and trained of Mink can only safely maintain it for more than a few minutes, because of the intense strain on their body, and beyond that the body starts to burn itself up from the inside, rupturing and tearing muscles and eventually organs. In addition, it can only naturally be triggered by gazing directly at a full moon (Or some suitable facsimile), meaning it can only be used on very specific days normally. [break][break] [attr="class","temSect"]Physical Traits Mink look much like humans, but with varying levels of animal traits, from merely having the extremities of the creature (Claws, hooves, fangs, horns, tails, antlers, wings) to looking like a bipedal version of the animal. All Mink are derived from mammals. As well, there are two subspecies of Mink, known as Yeti and Centaurs. The Yeti are large, hulking creatures, much larger than standard Mink, covered with a much thicker coat of fur to keep them warm in frigid tundra environments. Centaurs, meanwhile, are often more elongated and balanced, with thinner fur, with their defining trait being a humanoid upper torso sticking from what would be the neck of a quadruped mammal. All Mink, regardless of which variety, can have traits of any mammal, with the exception of Centaurs and primates. [break][break] [attr="class","temSect"]Common Enemies Hunters, slavers, sometimes other Mink tribes [break][break] [attr="class","temSect"]History The history of the Mink is a troubled one indeed, full of strife, but also full of wonder. Throughout, humans have tried to capture Mink, finding them as an odd sort, and treating them in much the same way they did to the Sea Folk, usually as slaves or pets. Many Mink, terrified of the humans, simply went along with it, before an uprising occurred roughly three centuries past. In this uprising, a pact was formed with the Eternal Elephant, Zunisha, and their great country of Zou was born. To this day, most of the Mink of Zou are descended from the risen slaves, while the wild tribes live in much smaller, fractured groupings. [break][break] [attr="class","temSect"]Culture The Mink culture varies wildly between tribes, with many of the "wild" Mink living mostly nomadic, with dwellings in tents, huts, or den made of or in the natural environment around them. Most Yeti have a culture akin to old Russian, and speak with a similar accent, while tribal Centaurs live mostly on wide plains and prairies, with a culture much like that of Native American tribes, complete with much larger dwelling tents. The Mink of Zou, having originated from slaves of humans, adapted closer to average human culture, with a large central city and multiple smaller towns, and a governing infrastructure. For the wild Mink, clothing is usually simple woven items, while those of Zou wear items resembling real-world renaissance European attire. [attr="id","blokLast"] [attr="class","temBlok"] [attr="class","temTitle"]Unlimited [attr="class","temWrap"] Mink are naturally susceptible to heat due to their fur, Yeti more so and Centaurs less so, are loyal to a fault by nature, and unless conditioned otherwise, are incredibly affectionate. Electro is a native racial trait that does not require a slot, but Su Long does require the use of a slot due to its power.

[nospaces] [attr="id","infoTem"] [attr="id","blokTitle"] [attr="class","temBlok"] [attr="class","temTitle"]Dwarves [attr="id","blokMain"] [attr="class","temBlok"] [attr="class","temTitle"]General Information [attr="class","temWrap"] [attr="class","appIndent"] [break]Average Height Range: Upwards of seven inches. [break]Average Weight Range: No more than ten pounds, averaging closer to four. [break]Average Life Expectancy: Centuries. None have bothered to count their ages. [break]Native To: Small kingdoms found hidden away in most civilized islands.
[break] [attr="class","temSect"]Special Abilities Dwarves have insane levels of physical strength for their diminutive size, being able to shatter boulders with minimal effort, as well as unbelievable speed. They move so fast, most people can't see them, leading to the colloquial name of "Faeries" [attr="class","temSect"]Physical Traits The Dwarves are an incredibly small race of humanoids, rarely reaching past most humans' ankles, noted by the common traits of often having a rather long, narrow nose, and very thick, bushy tails. Otherwise, they generally just look like very tiny humans. [break][break] [attr="class","temSect"]Common Enemies Slavers, Big people [break][break] [attr="class","temSect"]History Not much is known of dwarven history, even to themselves. Because of their forgetful and shortsighted nature, the Dwarves tend to easily lose track of things, their attention jumping from one subject to another. Because of this, they have a hard time keeping any real record of happenings, and are almost always too caught up in the moment to even think of stopping to record anything. [break][break] [attr="class","temSect"]Culture The Dwarves have a rather simple culture, with each settlement deciding, at one point or another, that they're going to worship a particular non-Dwarf as a hero, and treat their descendants as such. Otherwise, they make do by taking small amounts of things from non-Dwarves here and there, from bits of food to textiles and small metal objects that they often repurpose into weaponry, tools, and armor. Occasionally, Dwarven craftsmen will come about, and for their lifetimes be the primary source of firsthand goods in their kingdoms. [attr="id","blokLast"] [attr="class","temBlok"] [attr="class","temTitle"]Unlimited [attr="class","temWrap"] Dwarves are incredibly small, but with strength enough to easily overpower even fairly strong humans, and a large amount of speed. This makes them potent combatants, as long as they're able to get clean hits and strike the right points, but their size makes them very vulnerable as well. Combined with their inherent gullibility, Dwarves are very often tricked or captured with little difficulty, and cunning Dwarven adventurers are rare, but incredibly valued.

[break] [attr="class","temSect"]Special Abilities Shadetail can start with a specialty in either Illusions or Shapeshifting, but cannot start with knowing how to use the Night Daze ability unless they are a Rank V character. [break][break] Illusions[attr="class","appIndent"]Not very large range to start, and the stronger the Shadetail the more realistic the illusions seem. WIP [break] Shapeshifting[attr="class","appIndent"]Basic ability to begin with; hair color changes, shifting into their Shadetail form. Eye color and Shadetail mane color cannot be changed. WIP [break] "Night Daze"[attr="class","appIndent"]Powerful Shadetails have access to a special power that allows them to use the darkness of night as an energy source. This energy then can be released as powerful blasts or even merely small bursts. WIP [break] [attr="class","temSect"]Physical Traits A lithe, slender vulpine-like race, with a rather mischievous appearance. The colored markings on their faces give them the mischievous look. Unlike normal vulpine, they lack tails, walk primarily through bipedal locomotion, and their base color always ranges from dark gray to black, some having bits of brown hues showing through. The reason for their name comes from the way their manes hang on their backs, looking similar to tails often times. The color of these manes varies. The most common colors are reds and oranges, with yellow being fairly common as well. After that is greens and purples, with blues and whites being the rarest colors of all. There are rumors of solid black Shadetails being an even rarer occurrence than white. [break][break] [attr="class","temSect"]Common Enemies Night Hunters, Slavers [break][break] [attr="class","temSect"]History Long ago, the Night Hunters believed they wiped the Shadetails out, but in reality they only drove them into hiding. They've found this out as more Shadetails have shown up in recent years; though they're few and far between, usually being a slave to a rich lord. [break][break] [attr="class","temSect"]Culture Shadetails have a very tribal culture, having been cut off from the main world for so long. They have basic tools and building skills, enough to create stable huts with multiple floors. Their society follows a single chieftain, usually a powerful male. This is a change that happened when they were led into hiding by one male Shadetail who'd been gifted with powers from a deity. Aside from the chieftain and his family, all Shadetails share equal rank; those with less being given what they need to survive by those who have plenty. [attr="id","blokLast"] [attr="class","temBlok"] [attr="class","temTitle"]Creator Permission [ Aeon] [attr="class","temWrap"] [attr="class","temSect"]Full Shadetail Can't have Haki, at all. They also can't have Zoan fruits. Why would you want one anyway? They can shapeshift already. [attr="class","temSect"]Half Shadetail Can choose between having haki and having shapeshifting. You cannot have both. Also, if haki is chosen, then the character could also have a Zoan fruit. [break][break] If you have any questions about the race, or need clarification on certain aspects from this post, please message Aeon via PM or over Discord.
