It's pretty long and two short parts fall before her ears. Eye Color: Yellow Attire: She is usually wearing her a standard Marine uniform, but in a ridiculous small size as it wouldn't fit her otherwise. This uniform consist of a white short-sleeved shirt with the marine emblem on it. It comes with a blue neckerchief and dark blue pair of trousers. The shirt has Marine in large written on the back of it. It also came with a large cap which looks pretty much like a blue baseball cap. Except with the word Marine written on it in front. She also has an attire she wears when she isn't working. Which is much more simple and exists out of a simple black dress. In both attires she doesn't wears any shoes. She doesn't need those as she can fly around and thus doesn't need to walk. She also wears a flower in her dark hair at all times, except when she's sleeping. | [attr="class","bg"] [attr="class","title"]Background Maria Walker was born in a hilly region in the North Blue. It wasn't far in and it was still decently quiet on their island. In case of an attack of any race the Fairies would simply hide, which was easy due to their small size. They also could see it from very far if intruders were here because they could fly, seeing the enemy before they could see them. They also didn't like it if human's came to their villages. Mostly because they were so clumsy that they would destroy it almost by being there. Maybe the existence of the fairies on that island was unknown. It certainly wasn't impossible because it was very rare for a Human to notice a fairy let alone see them. There might be tales or legends. But as for now there wasn't any sign there were fairies here other then their make shape houses that are to small for a human to call it a home. A normal human might not even notice it if they walk by. Eventually though a human found Maria. She was left behind because she was still sleeping. It was very early and her parents still wanted to wake her, but it was to late. They had to flee as well as they would get caught soon after if they did. She was very young back then. She woke when she felt someone coming close and grabbing her. Gently but not gentle enough to break free. tied her up and put her in a pot made of glass. She didn't knew what the pirates wanted from her, but it seemed it was more then just to talk with her. Well... One didn't see a fairy everyday. In truth they wanted to sell her as a slave. They were certain that they would be paid handsomely if they turned in a fairy like this. Maria herself however, had no idea about that. She just kept pondering why these pirates took her and what they had in store for her. They tormented her outside of the pot. She couldn't flee from it, she couldn't do anything. She hated these men, All she could do was waiting inside the place. They didn't even took her knife. She tried attacking the pot with it, but the only effect was that the pirates had something more to laugh at her with. The knife didn't leave a mark on the pot, it was just to weak, or maybe was she. A few days before reaching the auction house were she would have been sold the marines ambushed the pirate ship. One of the marines saved her and kept her under his cap. She was always thankful for this marine. He gave her a life again. She could find a way home herself by hopping on passenger boats. It was very easy for her to sneak on board just when it left. As they didn't expect her to come on when it already left. When she reached home she studied a little. She would become a marine and protect everyone against pirates. Her entire village was shocked by this decision though. When she felt up to it, and after growing a little she went of to a local Marine branch to join up for training. Which went just like you expect. At first they laughed at her and wondered what a small little fairy was doing here all alone. Well she was really small but they couldn't ignore that she was strong enough actually open to door. Which would be impossible for a creature her size. she didn't even had to think hard about it. She just stomped the handle in the right angle and it opened from itself. Well they would give her a try since she came this far. But she could see on their faces that they expected her to be booted the first week. That didn't happen. She was actually quite good, and seemed to have a lot of skill in theoretical stuff. It was a complete life changes though. From the hills of her hometown to the human marine base. Everything was colossal for her. Even eating everything from her meal was difficult sometimes as was sleeping in a human sized bed. So she just took a match box and prettied it up a little so she could sleep in it. It was pretty comfortable once she got used to it. She ranked a little, but due to everyone looking down on her she didn't really come far. She only made it to lieutenant so far. Well she couldn't help it that they were so much bigger then her. |
