-Govnew sword island, 7pm, rainy night-
Govnew: the land of new opportunities to test the pointy end of objects against things other than people.
At least, thats what Hector had heard it jokingly called. In reality however one might find there was a bit of truth to that statement as they walked down the bustling main forging street of the sword isle of Govnew, as there appeared to be only three kinds of shops. First there was food stores (food stores that mostly sold "manly" things, such as meat and beer). Then there were weapon stores carrying what they claimed to be "the sharpest, pointiest and most awesome things to kill an opponent with!" on various signs (surrounded by other signs with similar slogans). Finally, there were the most busy and perhaps more brutal of the stores, the "Arenas". Places where people paid to test their skills and newly-bought weapons for chances at money and prizes against both fellow people and various animals. Frankly, it was a pirates dream to make a killing in the arenas, both figuratively and literally. Provided of course that they were not killed first.
Hector himself strode down the rainy street unconcerned, dressed in his stealth gear that hid his face for not being bothered by its mostly crass and crude male occupants who were here for the same reasons he was: weapons. Hector however was in this area specifically looking for a smith to make custom Kunai. After several long and difficult missions in his chosen profession, he found himself running low and required a rather large custom order of them.
That being said, no one Hector had asked thus far about such an order was able to fill it, leaving the Night Hunter somewhat frustrated as he wandered the large main street of the sword island. What was the damn point of being bladesmiths if you couldn't make something as simple as he requested? It boggled the young Night hunters mind for several minutes until he stumbed upon what appeared to be some kind of comotion: crowds of rowdy men of various trades were flooding a particular part of the street for some reason. Wishing to see what all the commotion was about, Hector quietly waded into the mass of men, wondering just what would get their ire and attention so much...

Ah, North blue, one of the most rambunctious of seas Charlotte had ever visited, and of course, this made it one of her instant favorites! There was just so much to do on the islands here, even if they were all themed towards some craft or art of battle. Govnew was especially a hotspot for this sort of stuff, as it was the place were people bought stuff so they could cause shit on all the other islands in this sea. At least that was how she saw it.~ There was booze, pointy things, and a wide range of thuggish ner do wells, half of which had probably considered taking her by force at one point. She absolutely loved it! For this year's visit she had been going around each and every bar, using one of her more mature golden ages so no one refused her a drink, clinking glasses with everyone before moving onto her next bar and the next drink. As ever she was having the time of her life and felt like nothing could bring her down. Every time she felt like she might start killing her body with alcohol she just made her liver a year younger and instantly started feeling better. The issue came at her 12th bar, with a full pint mug in her hand. "Did I ever tell you I love you guys? I-I mean like...really love you...D-dave...DAVE! I saw you last year I *hic* Visited! You were 'aight!" She felt a small tap on her shoulder, turning her head and glancing at the person standing behind her with a slightly drunken gaze. "May I help ya mister?" "You're Charlotte right? Visit here every year?" The man was tall, well built, and could probably pick up a large dinghy by the looks of him. The bluenette gave a simple nod, too drunk to realize that his tone meant she was in trouble. "Good. Cause I owe you this for screwing my girlfriend two years ago!"In an instant a fist was swung and, thanks to her Haki and years of training, even a drunken Charlotte was quick to avoid such an attack. Her whole body bending backwards on her stool and lifting her glass in the path of the fist, the man screaming as glass shards impaled his arm, growling visciously and trying to bring his other arm down on the girl who was literally bent over backwards right now."Ya know I can't say I remember that one..." Pushing a hand down on the floor behind her head she flipped back off the stool, avoiding the second strike with a bland expression. She'd been through this many times before, the only issue was remembering what or WHO she did to make the person trying to get her so angry.
"Sarah...? No she was three years ago..." By now the assailant's friends had joined in and she had a bulked up idiot at her twelve, 4, and 8. She was still stuck on who the hell this was, acting on trained instinct whenever a blow was thrown her way, dipping under a punch, jumping over a kick, all the while a hand cupped to her chin as she continued to avoid blow after blow, naming off random girls she had recalled having fun with on this island in the past years with a hand to her chin. "Samantha...no...no she was already gay before I came along." "STOP MESSING WITH US!" Another punch was thrown, but a simple twist of the neck was enough to dodge it this time. A small smile grew on Charlotte's lips as she finally figured out what she was missing. "OH! I remember! Clara right? Well now that I've got that out of the way-" "Let's up the game a bit." A hard, strong, Haki imbued punch was delivered to the back of the latest attacker's head, slamming his jaw hard into the earth below and even creating a 1 foot wide, half foot deep crater, creating an even larger crowd to watch the battle in awe, along with the two remaining boys, who were seriously reconsidering all of this. "Either of you boys want a shot? Or can I get back to my drinks?"

This was bad.
Hector had apparently muscled his way through a crowd right into some kind of bar-stall brawl. It looked like it had potential to be one hell of a brutal brawl too, as there was a single man unconcious on the ground under the tent-like covering that shielded patrons from the rain. Normally it wouldn't have worried Hector so much if it wasn't for the rather nasty looking half-foot deep foot-wide hole in the ground where the unconcious man was resting (IE: unconcious). At the center of the chaos, two stern and burly looking men stood menacingly staring down their opponent: a well-endowed woman who looked slightly wobbly and drunk. Hector raised an eyebrow after getting his attention away from the woman's, erm, sub-neckline. Hector realized the danger of the situation: taking either side could result in bad things, especially if the crowd got rowdy enough to start something stupid like a riot. Normally this was why the arena's in the area existed: to get the fighting off the streets. Of course there were always problems like this from what Hector knew about the island.
And he thought he knew a way to resolve them.
"Enough." Hector called out to the two men and the woman, a call that silenced the jeering cheers of the onlookers. the eyes visible through his obscured face stern and looking over the carnage once again. His call immediately got the attention of the two burly men from the young woman, their eyes locking on him with clear disdain and anger.
"Piss off, mate, this dun involve you." the first of the two burly men snapped.
"Yeah, screw off and find someone else to bother." The second man added on.
"Seeing as how I don't give a damn what happens to you, normally thats what I would do. Your little ruckus, though? Its gonna bring in the militia, and chances are if this gets worse they'll shut down the street and cart your arses off to jail. You wanna blow off some steam? go to the arena. Don't do it here. Thats the rules."
"Look, we didn't start it, this broad-"
"I don't give a damn who started it, I'm finishing it. Now get lost." Hector said. As he did, the onlookers began to disperse slightly, clearly realizing Hector's apt point about the militia. There were still some Onlookers, and the two man stood looking between Hector and the woman, clearly debating their choices. The standoff continued. The men still did not look very pleased with what was happening, and looked liked they were considering attacking Hector now as well.
"Don't do it, buddy. I'd rather not put you in the hospital...or the morgue." Hector threatened to one of the men, hoping it would end the supposed stalemate before anything else got out of hand.

Who the fuck is this joker? As the drunken mind of Charlotte slowly grasped the situation once more she realized another man had joined the fray, and her little display of power had hardly deterred the other two men who were backing up their buddy. Very will, if a third man were to join the fray, she would simply have to up her game...Of course this required she still be standing, which at this point was becoming surprisling difficult as her kept moving to keep up with her swaying body. It was only when talk of the militia arose that the idea of him being backup for her opponents left, and a new idea filledthe mind of the surprisingly elder woman. So, he's trying to be a spoil sport! "Look mister...whosamwhatsit." By now the crowd had already begun to disperse, with the two men who had originally wished to face her being the only people who would definately remain, wanting to take not only her down, but the stranger now as well thanks to his little interuption of their spout. Her drunken legs would carry her towards the man on her left, leaning on his shoulder and getting a disgusted glare from the man, who wondered what the hell she was doing as she talked to the stranger. "We was just having a good old fashioned discussion...this gentleman" She began, gesturing to the man who's head had it's own personal crater. "Believed I had slept with his girlfriend...and this is true -hic- BUT, we needed to discuss...my? No no no, HIS! Yes, that's it! HIS punishment..." For a moment, her mind wandered again, looking up at the man she was leaning on, who half seemed okay with her seeing as she might get the stranger to leave with his words. "Hey...hey...didn't I bang your mom and dad twenty years ago?" "OH THAT'S IT!" The man quickly tried to shove her away, only for her whole body to lean back like a half arsed limbo attempt to avoid it, the man bringing up his fist to strike her. "I'VE HAD ENOUGH O' THIS BROAD" "Ya know, I was thinking the same thing." Whatever image the bluenette had provided to suggest she may be under the influence of alcohol was suddenly gone as she dashed in under the man's swing, grabbing him by his shirt and quickly tossing him over head at the other, the two of them flung/hit with enough force to send them falling into the nearest table, leaving a giddy little bluenette giggling away, looking over towards the stranger who had interupted them with a wide grin. "There, who needs malitiamawhosits?"

This was...Strange, to say the least.
The woman gave the distinct impression of being completely and totally plastered as she rattled off the individuals she had slept with. It was, honestly, quite awkward to listen to for Hector. What was more shocking was her incredible reflexes and ability to dodge the somewhat predictable attack of one of the two men with startling ease despite being as close as she was. Tossing the men onto one another, leaving them a heap on a wooden object that was once a table only cemented the idea that despite being drunk, this woman was a genuine fighter. the Night Hunter believed that her abilities were due to some kind of ability that he was not aware of at the moment.
And that was all the more reason to play it safe.
The woman looked toward him with a giddy grin on her face. She clearly didn't know how much of a bad idea it was to start causing trouble when everyone around you had weapons or could otherwise be a deadly opponent. That wasn't even mentioning the rather serious nature of the local militia and police, who while not as harsh as the marines were certainly no picknic to deal with.
"There, who needs malitiamawhosits?"
Yare Yare Daze... Hector thought to himself, quietly bringing a palm up to his covered face while he shook his head for a moment. He was seriously considering leaving the woman to deal with the rather irate police or militia that would arrive shortly, but Hector being a sucker for women (particularly those who were particularly gifted in their curves) thought that maybe he could diffuse the bluenette bombshell before she got too much out of hand and lived up to the literal title of bombshell. Hector tried to think: what could he say to try and diffuse the situation?
"Listen, I think it would be best if we just go somewhere else for now. Maybe get a drink where there are less people trying to harass you." Hector explained. "Maybe a bar down the street?"
It was a quick and somewhat impulsive question, but Hector just needed to get this woman the hell away from the scene she was making before things got worse or some of the downed thugs friends showed up. As long as he could do that, then he would have all his proverbial ducks in a row.
He just hoped things went that smoothly.

With a last little look at the idiots who thought it would be a good idea to even try and take her on, now in a huddled heap over one another with the shattered remains of a table surrounding them, Charlotte gave one last little giggle, the sort of maniac, crazy kind where the shoulders of the person would shake with ever last "hee hee hee". She really did not like having her island visits being interrupted so rudely, buuuuuut she did get one hell of a kick when she sorted it all out.
As the man who, oddly, also had blue hair tried to grab her attention, she gave him a vague stare, like she wasn't even sure if he was actually there or a figment of her mine. A quick fix with her age, adjusting it here and there in certain organs, and she felt a bit better, able to focus more but still in that stage of being drunk where you tend to blab the first things that come into your head. As such, she promptly walked over and said the following.
"L-looks here! I's won't be having any trouble from the mallet...the maple...the malititties...the whosamwhatsits! No! None at all! I'll have you know I knew the head honcho's granddad before he was even born!" Now, to even another drunken member of the islands bars, this probably would have set off an alarm that Charlotte likely wasn't in her twenties at all, but instead, perhaps far older. Then again, it could go the other way as more drunken babbling, it was a 50-50 call, but Charlotte herself was too drunk to care.
"T-then again...now that's I looks at ya..." She got a somewhat worrying grin, grabbing his wrist with a surprisingly strong grip and dragging him down the streets further up the sword section of the island and towards a couple more bars. "You're handsome! I'll let you buy me a drink kiddo!"

...Wh-What?
What was going on with this woman? yes, Hector was well aware that she was so drunk she couldn't even stand up straight, but that crazy chuckle just sent shivers down his spine. Who was she, and how the hell could she seem so intimidating when she could barely stand up? Hector seemed to have his questions piling up faster then answers. Especially when she started talking about the militia and how she could stop it simply by somehow knowing "the head honcho's granddad" before he was even born.
...did she sleep with him, too? Hector sarcastically wondered. Though he had to admit, he would have been lucky if such a thing was possible. There was no way she could have slept with someone like that unless she was well over 100 though, and Hector knew that this woman possessed erm, "assets" that she was anything but over 30. She certainly wore some clothing to flaunt such a thing as well. With a certain swagger of her hips (or perhaps swagger of the fact that she was stupidly drunk) the woman walked up and got rather uncomfortably close to Hector as she looked up at him. Any closer and Hector wondered if she intended to be pressing up against him. Quietly, she seemed to look him over, a sort of mischevious grin crossing her features that made Hector more nervous than he already was.
"T-then again...now that's I looks at ya..." She began as if to say something. Hector then saw a rather quick motion from her hand toward his, and next thing he knew the woman had a rather strong grip on his wrist and quickly pulled him away from the bar stall in the direction of what she likely thought was something (probably more drinks).
"You're handsome! I'll let you buy me a drink kiddo!"
The Night Hunter was immediately given pause at the fact that the woman seemed to think he was handsome based on seeing his eyes and perhaps a hint of blue hair, and would have said something to protest by insisting that the woman sit down before she fell over and passed out, but he was too busy trying to keep on his feet without causing a ruckus or trying to break free of her grip. If he tried anything but keep up with the woman he likely would have lost his footing and simply been dragged to wherever the hell this woman was taking him. Likely to another bar. After several minutes of an iron grip on his wrist that Hector begrudgingly put up with, He found himself sitting in an actual bar next to the woman who thankfully had made the trip without attacking someone or tripping and falling unconscious into a ditch.
He wondered exactly what was going to happen next, but part of him wondered if he should keep his Kronos avatar at the ready. This woman was no joke in terms of strength, and while Hector was strong he would need all the help he could get trying to keep himself and the woman out of trouble.

With the idiot and his backup now far in the distance behind them, losing themselves, and maybe eachother in the crowd as they searched for the girl who had just caused multiple fractures in several of their bones. Charlotte just couldn't help it though, when she had someone challenge her to a fight, she was likely to decline, if they threw a punch, she was likely to dodge, and, ultimately, if they just began wasting their time, and hers, she's put it all to an end, attempting to knock their lights out in one punch. It was efficient, and it delivered a message, and ultimately, it saved both parties times they could better use on something more productive. Like drinking!~ By now her adjusted internal organs had been processing the alcohol and she was feeling far better, in fact she was even walking straight by the time they got to the bar, but it was likely that he sudden drinking partner would stil think she was a drunken mess, so, even though it was clear that she could walk perfectly fine, as soon as she sat down, she leaned on the blue haired, shady figure, giving off a giddy little chuckle and a faked hiccup, waving at the barman. "Two of your best here! I'm payin!" "Sure thing Charlotte!" She grinned and flashed him a shooting finger and a wink before turning to the guy she was still leaning against, faking a drunken grin. "So, thanks for tha helps back thar! I reeeeeeallees appreciates it!~"

This was starting to get out of hand, though honestly? things could have been much worse.
After being dragged through town, Hector now found himself sitting next to the rather attractive bluenette woman as she ordered two drinks. One for herself and one for Hector. This was awkward. Hector avoided alcohol for a number of reasons, highest of which was that he had never had it before and had no idea how he would react to it. The woman seemed tipsy still, but Hector got some kind of distinct feeling that despite her drunken-ness the bluenette seemed to have a good head on her shoulders and seemed to be able to plan things out. Perhaps she was acting like a drunken ditz for some other reason?
Hector didn't know. When the drinks came in front of him, he took a moment to delay drinking the alcohol by doing something he wasn't always the best at: trying to be sociable.
"So...I never exactly caught your name. Would you care to tell me before we drink? seems a little rude of me to at least not know your name. I'm Hector. Hector Vinland. A-as for the help, I suppose its no problem." Hector said, introducing himself to the woman who was leaning against him somewhat drunkenly. He wasn't very good at this whole "bar" thing in the least, having not set foot in one for the purpose of a drink, well, ever. The only time he really went into bars normally was to drag pirates out to prison.
So you could say being on the other side of it in a way was an interesting and perhaps awkward new experience.

Even with a beer now in hand Charlotte was working at the top of her game now, the alcohol pretty much absent from her mind now and her whole body feeling much better, and her head was pretty much clear right now. Still, keeping the act up might have been fun...~ "Oh me? My name ist Charlotte! Charlotte Wilson, and it is quite a pleasure to make a the aquaintance of such a fantastic gentleman who will allow me to choose him as my drinking partner. I-whoah...I...HEE HEE! I d-don't HEE HEE HAA HAA!~" "OH MY GOD KOOCHI GET OUT OF THERE!" In an instant a small, thin, purple snake slid out onto the table, seeming to chuckle in a snaky little hiss as it rested out on the table, Charlotte slowly calming down from her seemingly random giggle fit, until she introduced the snake that now rested on the table. "T-this is Koochi, my pet snake...h-he likes to tickle people!~" The small snake grinned at the stealth gear guy, before suddenly realizing who exactly he was looking at, hissing more aggressively, taking his odd appearance as a threat to his owner.

Hector was at first listening intently to the woman while swallowing a lump in his throat at the mention of "drinking buddy". He really wasn't a drinking buddy though...she had apparently dragged him here to either drink while ranting at him or make him drink somehow (something he was not exactly keen on). still, it was infinitely better than the alternative of being back at that other bar tent trying to explain things to the local militia. Things seemed to be going awkwardly well (at least that was what the socially inept Hector was assuming) when almost out of nowhere Charolette began to chuckle and laugh.
At first, Hector raised an eyebrow, cautiously leaning away from the woman who possibly could have lost her mind on a moments notice. Then he saw it: a small creature slithering out from her slip dropped onto the table. A purple and black small snake, to be specific. Charolette identified the snake as "Koochi" and noted that he liked to tickle people. The snake seemed friendly enough for what it was at first, eventually, however, after looking Hector over it began to hiss aggressively. Perhaps a little intimidated by Hector's unsual appearance and much larger size.
Taking the opportunity to get the subject off of attempting to drink, Hector quietly pulled away the disguise over his face, revealing his features and most notably the unusual "brand" over his eye. Then Hector placed his hand on the counter two or three feet away from the small snake, giving it plenty of room to take its time investigating Hector to see if it wanted anything to do with him. Hector wasn't about to go reaching for an angry snake, and knew animals were usually much better if you let them take their time getting to know you and not sticking your hands in their face.
As Hector left his hand on the table for Koochi to investigate, he turned his attention back to Charolette. Perhaps if she was inebriated he could at least get some answers.
"What brings you to Govnew, Miss Wilson? And if you don't mind me asking, how do you manage to get into trouble so quickly?" Hector inquired in a both curious and joking manner. Meanwhile, Hector secretly hoped Koochi didn't take advantage of the situation to bite the hand that Hector was letting the snake take his time investigating.

With Koochi out on the table, she was too distracted, calming down from her giggles to remember to keep up the act. Instantly she seemed far more sober and was grinning actually more sincerely than like she was in a drunken stupor. Koochi himself sniffed the hands of the man curiously, slipping out his tongue and tasting the air to do so. He didn't smell too bad, and he didn't seem violent, but quite honestly, he still didn't trust the man. Afterall that mask didn't make him seem like much of a man to trust.
"o-oh I'm just on my yearly visit...heh heh...I come here, and other places, at least once a year for a visit, drink, have fun, share stories. Ya know, the whole shibang!~ It's a fun time for everyone, except those guys who lose their girlfriends to me, but seriously, if they deserved their girlfriends it wouldn't be so easy to convince them to leave the douches." She took a nonchalant drink of her beer, as if what she'd just said was completely normal. "So, how about you, got a huge reason to be here?"
