[attr="class","bg"] [attr="class","title"]Background Gray was born and raised in a Sky Village named 'Anormalis', he lived on a farm with his mother and father who were both too, Skyfolk and Beastfolk. His everyday life consisted of helping his parents on the farm that had very limited amount of soil and it was his job to make sure all the soil was perfectly equal with the other plants, this then later helped Gray in the future when he started his own work in the dial factory. The dial factory wasn't really much of a factory and more of a workshop where Skyfolk would forge dials and ship them off to nearby towns and cities; Gray helped by making sure the dials were all even in size, shape and weight before shipping using only natural senses (without scales). Gray enjoyed working at the dial factory as he was able to do something he was actually good at and he was given the nickname of 'Silver' by the very few co-workers he had because sometimes when he was working in hot conditions, his grey fur would glisten and create a silver glow. Once Gray was old enough to legally leave the Village, he took the chance at first thought. He had always longed for adventure ever since he first read Alice's book called 'Moby Dick'. Alice was his best and only friend he had bothered to make, she was all he needed and wanted, she was really happy for him to start his own life but they were both sobbing at the thought of never being able to see each other again, they hugged in a tight embrace and then Gray turned to his parents who just arrived with his supplies for his travels. He was given his father's most favoured dial, it was a tone dial with an audio message from them, he was told to only listen to it once he had finally found a place to call home. Part of his supplies also an undersized lance that was given to him by Alice's father before he died as a way of thanking him for being her friend. Of course he was also given food and a compass to get himself around but in all honesty he did not know where he was headed. He said goodbye to his family and friends then set sail in his small boat for the Heaven Gate of East Blue. Once he got through his ship was able to float down safely using special types of cloud which Gray had no idea of it's name, all of that was new to him and it seemed like his vast adventure had finally begun. |
