Description: This particular devil fruit allows the user to create, control, and transform into light, essentially turning the user into a Light Human (光人間 Hikari Ningen). As a consequence, the user has gained immunity to all forms of light, which includes bright flashes, lasers, sunburn, and other potentially damaging or disorienting light uses. This devil fruit also eliminates his weight while transformed, like with other non-solid logia.

An unusual aspect of this devil fruit is that its power is directly dependent on the amount of faith and confidence that the user possesses about himself. If he has great faith and confidence in himself, then his power will be great, but if he loses those two then his power wanes. Ingesting rum also completely negates his devil fruit powers, so he avoids that drink at all costs. Like any devil fruit user, he is still susceptible to the regular devil fruit weaknesses.

• ▶ Amaterasu (Illuminating Heaven) - The user focuses light into a body part before releasing it as a powerful flash of light that blinds anyone in the vicinity. The intensity and covered distance of the light is dependent upon the size of the body part it is concentrated on. For example, a flash from his fingertips is just disorienting, but a flash from his full-size wings will sear the retinas of anyone in the vicinity blind them for an entire thread.
  
• ▶ Hanabi (Fireworks) - This technique allows the user to fire off a beam of light from any part of his body. These beams do not have any force unlike orbs, but they are extremely hot and will pierce through almost anything. However, they can be reflected off of reflective surfaces if the user wills them to. Alternatively, the user can move their appendage and cause the beam to cut instead of just pierce. The maximum range for a beam is at 80 ft, mostly due to power requirements to maintain it.
  
• ▶ Hizashi (Rays of the Sun) - This technique enables the user to create multiple orbs of extremely concentrated light around him in any direction. Once these orbs are created, they are used to fire off beams of light. They can also be moved around before, during, and after firing. These orbs have three charges of beams before dissipating, but they can be recharged by the user by injecting more light in them. These beams have a maximum range of 80 ft.
  
• ▶ Izanami (She who invites) – This is a technique that uses strictly ultraviolet light for a variety of effects, usually through contact. His usual way of using it involves pumping a lot of UV-B and UV-A rays out into the air around him to effect people around him in a radius of 40 meters, slowly but surely burning them without heat via sunburns, skin aging and eye damage. It can also be administered as a constant beam or through touch, the latter of which is more dangerous and often causes more severe burns faster, though both are more effective than the first option in causing burns. The length of exposure determines the severity of the damage and the recovery time.
  
  The most dangerous form of the technique is when he uses ultraviolet from the extreme end of the spectrum (UV-C) to instantly kill any living cells or degrade plastic polymers by destroying the very molecules they use (the former) or they comprise of (the latter). This turns the touched part of a living creature black due to the death of cells, and from the point of contact it spreads further. Given enough time to spread, his touch causes widespread necrosis throughout a living being’s body and is often treated as a touch of rot and decay as a result. This decay cannot be healed or regenerated and must be removed immediately lest they form cancerous tumors or worse due to mutation from all of the damage if revived and replacing them will likely end up to tumors and metastasis due to creating more of them. Unlike the other two, it can only be administered via contact due to their nature. It is this form that gave the technique its name.
  
  All of these techniques can be used to sterilize certain objects like metal or water in order to be able to use them safely for operations or any other procedure that needs sterile equipment. It is actually more efficient than heat in sterilizing equipment in certain cases, especially if said equipment has a low melting temperature or is combustible.
  
• ▶ Kagayaku (To reflect) - By turning his feet into light, Miguel is able to stand and walk on any reflective surface through the controlling the reflective ability of the photons his feet is composed of. This definition includes anything with color -which is most effective with white- as well as anything that can shine or sparkle. This allows him to walk on things others normally wouldn’t be able to, like water or clouds, as well as vertical surfaces like walls. In fact, he can go even further and lie down or even do push-ups on any reflective surface as long as the limbs in contact with the surface are turned into light.
  
• ▶ Kamui (God’s Majesty) - This ability allows the user to turn his entire body or parts of it into light, making them intangible as a consequence. The user has a choice to make it obvious and turn himself into one solid color (usually for intimidation) or retain the same appearance that they have. Slight will and concentration is required on the user’s part in order to use this ability, so unexpected attacks cannot be phased through with it.
  
• ▶ Kyokukou (Aurora) - This technique allows the user to bend and distort the light he creates and transforms into, which he can use to trick other creatures’ vision. Uses of this technique include turning invisible and changing the outer appearance of themselves and anything that is bathed in their light into anything else they can visualize. However, it is important to note that the change is only an illusion on the eyes and does not affect any of the other senses.
  
• ▶ Magatama (Curved Jewel) - With this technique, the user is able to create an orb of concentrated light from any part of his body and fire it off at the target. When it hits the target, it explodes and causes both concussive damage and severe burns. These orbs can be reflected off of surfaces. The maximum range for an orb is 100 ft, and after it reaches maximum range it just flickers and dies.
  
• ▶ Ningendō (Human Path) - This ability allows the user to be able to manipulate the quality of his vision by controlling the light flow into his retinas. Decreasing the light flow reduces his vision while increasing it improves his vision. He can also use this ability to be able to see more or less colors than the normal human if he wished. This allows the user to either blind himself or gives himself vision superior to anything else known to man by improving both the distance and the amount of detail that he can see and process.
  
  By being able to control the light that flows into his retinas, the user becomes able to perceive infrared and ultraviolet light in addition to the normal visible light that most creatures see by being able to process it in his retinas and brain. This is made possible because of the user’s nature as a Hikari Ningen, or Light Human.
  
• ▶ Yasakani no Magatama (Eight Shaku Curved Jewel) - The user uses two hands or both wings in order to fire off a barrage of light orbs at the target or targets. The area of the barrage can be controlled, ranging from one target to a widespread area. They can be reflected off of surfaces as well, creating random and often destructive patterns. These orbs also cause concussive damage and severe burns and are just as powerful as the ones used in Magatama. This is essentially a rapid-fire version of Magatama that trades accuracy for sheer destructive power.
  
• ▶ Ama no Murakumo (The Gathering Clouds of Heaven) - The user creates light from his hands, visualizes a form, and then wills the light to take the shape of that visualized form. This light construct is then hardened using Busoshoku Haki, making it solid and able to interact with other things. This technique is usually used to create weapons of light like swords, maces, javelins, staves, glaives, bows and arrows, and any other weapon that the user can possibly imagine. However, aside from weapons this technique can also be used to create shields, walls, flowers, tables, chairs, or anything else the user can visualize. Because these constructs are solidified using Busoshoku Haki, they can easily reach and affect other Logia users’ real bodies and ignore their intangibility. They are also stronger, more durable (and in some cases sharper) than their real-world counterparts if they were made of normal materials. Weapons made out of kairoseki or similiarly-special materials will still be stronger or as strong/sharp as the construct.
  
• ▶ Banbutsunoreichou (The Lord of Creation) - This ability requires the user to use Kamui in order to turn their limbs or themselves into light first. Once that’s done, the user can then reshape his body parts into anything he can imagine and then solidify them with the use of Busoshoku haki. These modifications can be made even more convincing by putting in even more texture and detail to his altered form. Another touch of realism can be put into it by bending and distorting the surface of the light of his limbs in order to change the color and his overall surface appearance.
  
  Because the body parts altered by this technique are imbued by Busoshoku Haki out of necessity, they can easily go through another Logia user’s intangibility and reach their real bodies. The increase of the user’s strength is proportional to the amount of size that he increases in as well as the amount of Busoshoku Haki that he uses to solidify and strengthen his modified limbs. Despite being solid, these limbs of light can still be modified and changed on the fly at the user’s will because of their nature as light.
  
  Prolonged contact with Kairoseki will revert him back into his original form, though the more parts he has transformed, the longer it would take for him to fully revert to his normal form. Being fully submerged in water will also revert him back to his original form because he is still susceptible to the standard devil fruit weaknesses.
  
• ▶ Kintarō (Golden Boy) - This technique is an offshoot of Ama no Murakumo. However, instead of making an item, the user makes actual solid and sentient figures from the light by mixing the light he produces with Kenbunshoku and Busoshoku Haki. These figures can range from simple insects to actual clones of himself to even gigantic imaginary creatures. The exact features and dimensions of these clones are alterable and subject to the user’s will. These figures act as an extension of the user’s sight and Kenbunshoku Haki sense, enabling the user to extend the sensory range of these two senses to a maximum of 50 ft radius around the figure. However, they cannot hear, feel, or taste since they are merely made out of light. As such, the user can’t use them to extend those senses either.
  
  Only ten solid light figures or five figures with full illusory details approximately Miguel’s size can be made at one time. The amount of smaller figures depends on the size and mass of the figure being made as well as if they have illusory disguises or not. For the gigantic imaginary creatures, only one or two can be made depending on the amount of detail (simple solid light or full illusory disguise).
  
  They are able to act independently of their creator, but they are still subject to their creator’s commands. Since they are solid, they can interact with the environment and attack if need be. Their attacks will be stronger than the original versions of the figure (unenhanced, of course) because their entire form is filled with Busoshoku Haki. These figures can be simply be dispersed into the air or reabsorbed into Miguel. Alternately, they can also explode violently with the force of twice that of a light orb of equal size. They can be forcibly destroyed, though it takes a few strong solid strikes before they lose their cohesion and dissolve into light.
  
• ▶ Tenchi (Heaven and Earth) - This ability enables the user to strike at the speed of light by using light turn parts of the striking limbs into light and then turning them back to normal at the very last instant. This exponentially increases the power of the strikes as well due to the extreme increase in speed.[break]
• ▶ Yata no Kagami (Eight Span Mirror) - This ability enables the user to turn into light and travel at the speed of light in straight lines. While travelling at light speed, he can reflect himself off of reflective surfaces in order to turn. However, this can also be used against him by blocking or even re-routing him to somewhere else. He can pass through transparent and translucent items while travelling, but they make him lose momentum that he needs to regain by travelling without being reflected for an amount of time depending on the opacity of the object he passed through. It is important to note that the user cannot pass through completely opaque objects.
