Rings of the den den mushi echoed into the quiet office of the newly promoted vice admiral. The vice admiral gently picked up the phone handle. "Hello. This is the office of Vice Admiral Fate Ryder." said the female. Muffled urgent voice instantly began talking on the other end while the vice admiral's face slowly turned into a serious expression. She nodded. "Yes sir. I'll get right on it." Fate instantly marched out of her office, patting her clothing quickly to make sure she had her belongings.
She marched through the marine headquarters out onto the decks where her temporary ship was docked. She was supposed to be transferred into a squad with a higher up than herself but arrangements were still being made and Fate was her own boss for now on a ship. Upon arriving at the blue typical marine ship, she saw that her crew was already hard at work preparing everything that is required to sail off to their destination.
She smiled for a brief moment, pleased with the men that she had requested. No drunken slobs, no men that had track record for goofing off. She needed a tight crew and she got one. "Alright boys. We're heading off to an island where Nanashi also known as the Faceless Devil is rumored to be. We need to depart quickly to make it there before he has a chance to leave the island. Get to it boys!" ordered Fate as she stepped onto the ship while her men continued working.
Within few minutes, the ship rolled into the island's reefs silently. It was a rather small autumn island, nowhere too popular yet nowhere too small to the point where everyone knew what was going on. It was decently populated. Fate turned to her men. "I will scout ahead, no need for you guys to raise suspicion. If anyone ask you're here, just say its for some routine inspection." said the female as she stepped off the ship, walking further into the island hoping to catch the Faceless Devil.
