Description: The major strength of the fruit is that it's user gains the ability to produce vast amounts of heat more than can be normally produced by a regular person. The Devil Fruit user can use this heat to melt anything they touch. The user is also able to use it to either protect themselves from physical blows or attack opponents with various heat based attacks. Because the user has the ability to regulate their body temperature, they are able to withstand varying temperatures of extreme magnitude, from being surrounded by the freezing cold of a winter island to being completely immersed in molten lava.

The heat produced is also affected by the user's temperament. If the user is calm, the heat that is produced is moderately safe. However, if the user is angry in any sort of way, the temperature of the heat that is produced becomes so dangerously high that the user can melt everything around him. Their heat can also drastically affect the environment around the user and can wake up sleeping volcanoes in the vicinity. An interesting effect for Jack is that, similar to how most Devil Fruits affect the user's clothing as well as their bodies, Jack's prosthetics are included in the full effect of his Devil Fruit. The twist, however, is that, as they are not a natural part of his body, Jack can retain his powers even if his prosthetics are immersed in water, or in contact with Kairoseki.

As an effect of controlling heat, he can cause two very different, but very potent effects that are somewhat less obvious. The first is rather simple, and well known. This being the Mirage Effect. Once exceeding a certain temperature, heated air begins to bend light, causing illusions that confuse those who see them. By controlling the heat, and thereby the fluctuation of the light, the user can completely control the illusions to his needs.

The second skill is has a much more direct impact, but wouldn't be noticed most people. Rather, anyone who knows the winds at sea, any navigator could immediately tell you what was happening. By fluctuating the temperature of the air around him, raising and lowering it at very specific intervals, Jack has learned to control the flow of the wind, to the level of even creating small localized storms and tornadoes. Much of this technique requires focus and precision in reading the flow of the air, so it's not very often that Jack is capable of properly controlling the wind. As well, because of the amount of focus required, it also burns up energy at an even more accelerated rate, quickly causing exhaustion within a mere moment.

Strangely, the Atsu Atsu no Mii burns up enormous amounts of calories and sugars, requiring the user to need to eat unbelievable amounts of food, and drink even more unbelievable amounts of alcohol. Curiously, his powers are also negated by ingesting mint, although the reason is unknown. Otherwise, it fall under the standard weaknesses of Devil Fruits.

• ▶ Red Hot Rumble - The most basic technique in Jack's arsenal, Red Hot Rumble is, in the simplest terms, a straight bum rush of punches and kicks, engulfed in the heat of his power.
  
• ▶ Red Hot Riot - A more powerful attack, Red Hot Riot is comprised of a single, powerful dashing kick, followed by an upswing kick, both enhanced with the Sambas and engulfed in Red Hot heat.
  
• ▶ Blue Hot Breaker - A simple, but powerfully effective technique, a superheated punch with the right hand, which glows blue from the heat, bursting upon impact.
  
• ▶ Blue Hot Blazer - A powerful move, with it's true nature hidden in the mirage. Jack turns and strikes the ground with his heel, sending a wave of heat surging forward along the ground and rising upward, disguised as a deep blue flame, with lick of real flame created through Busoshoku Haki, creating a straight burning trail directly forward.
  
• ▶ White Hot Whirlwind - Jack's only offensive technique built upon his "wind shift" skill, Jack quickly distorts the wind, causing a small gale around him, as his body heats up to a white-hot level, then charging the foe with a powerful rush attack.
  
• ▶ White Hot Whiplash - A powerful, but tricky move. Jack superheats his left arm to white-hot levels, then dashes past the foe, grazing them with his finger, releasing all of the heat into the foe as Jack skids to a halt a few feet past them.
  
• ▶ White Hot Wipeout - A potent crowd control technique consisting of repeated waves of heat being released in a dome pattern around Jack, reinforced with Busoshoku Haki to increase the force. At times, the heat can be so instantaneous that it can create a roar of thunder.
  
• ▶ Black Hot Burner - A powerful offensive technique, Black Hot Burner fires off a centralized, controlled wave of focused heat, packed so tightly that it appears to be a pitch-black beam. Impact with this “beam” is extremely dangerous, and a full, direct hit from the entire “beam” is capable of potentially cooking the victim.
  
• ▶ Black Hot Bastion - Jack’s only truly defensive technique, and by far his most intimidating physical technique, Black Hot Bastion coats his entire body in pure heat of such an extreme degree that the light bends away from his body, causing him to appear as a vague black outline of his proper appearance, with the only color being the crimson glow of his false eye, creating a quite demonic visage.
  
• ▶ Black Hot Big Bang - Jack’s ultimate offensive technique, utilizing the full power of the Black Heat, Jack surges with an extreme heat, turning pitch black as the light bends away from his body, before all of the heat gathers in his right fist. Rushing at his foe at remarkable speed, Jack throws a single, solid punch straight into the enemy’s chest, forcing every last degree of the heat into the foe, causing a mild explosion of heat from them, and dealing extremely severe damage.
  
• ▶ Miraggio Fiore (Mirage Flower) - The default illusory technique, Jack uses his heat to create heat mirages around him, distorting the foe's ability to perceive images, though this technique is usually used for the sake of theatrics and aesthetic.
  
• ▶ Miraggio Esercito (Mirage Army) - A very potent mirage, in which Jack pools his creativity to craft a small army of no less than one hundred illusory soldiers, all in similar red-and-black armor, but each with an individual face and body structure. Indeed, these illusions are made somewhat solid by the use of his Busoshoku Haki, and of course wield various weapons, including swords, lances, axes, and bows. Due to the focus required and difficulty of use, this technique is mostly used to wear enemies down before Jack goes in to finish the job.
  
• ▶ Centi Tiratore (Hundred Shooter) - A technique devised for intimidation and trickery, Centi Tiratore creates one hundred illusory copies of Jack, guns drawn and aimed at the foe, whilst masking the real Jack's presence. Though, one with enough perception will notice the signs of his movement, which cannot be fully hidden. Through the use of his Busoshoku Haki, Jack can also make the copies slightly solid, and have them fire semi-solid projectiles, which cause physical damage to targets struck by them.
  
• ▶ Danza di Zanne (Dance of Fangs) - An interesting illusion, elegant in form and fierce in purpose. This technique has Jack performing a sort of "swords-dance", moving gracefully with blades in hand. But, the key is, his exact movements are hidden from view by mirages, so his target is almost impossible to predict before his strike.
  
• ▶ Ali Tremolanti (Flickering Wings) - One of Jack’s most graceful, beautiful illusions, in which he creates a beautiful pair of glistening, black, feathered wings on his back, with licks of heat distorting the air around them, giving the feathers a hazy outline. The wings are made solid by means of Busoshoku Haki, and even give limited flight, though the altitude is rather limited, as is the amount of time flight can be sustained.
  
• ▶ Pale Fantasma (Phantom Blades) - A very powerful, wondrous illusion, steeped in the power of Busoshoku Haki, creating a series of solidified mirages in the shape of swords, always symmetrical and in multiples of two, usually anywhere from four to twenty. When not in use, the blades float behind Jack, and are freely controlled to be swung forward for attacking. Unlike most of his solid illusions, these swords are much more durable, each lasting for about five strikes before needing to be reformed.
  
• ▶ Specchio Specchio (Mirror Mirror) - A fun one, this illusion makes Jack appear to be a mirror image of his foe, so long as he mimics the foe's movements. A rare variation will have Jack reverse the situation, using his wires to manipulate the foe into believing that they are, in fact, the mirror reflection.
  
• ▶ Nebbia di Guerra (Fog of War) - A very specialized technique, which fluctuates the air temperature to rapidly evaporate and condense water vapor, creating a very thick fog, useful for hiding within, and for confusing the foe. This is one of the few moves used more by Nanashi, greatly amplifying his air of intimidation and mystique. However, the technique serves no offensive or defensive purpose aside from skewing sight.
  
• ▶ Fata Morgana (Fairy Morgana) - Jack's ultimate mirage, which is used to completely destroy a foe's will. Jack closes his eyes for but a moment, raising his right hand, before reciting "Be lost in the void between shadow and light." Dropping his hand, the area around him begins to fluctuate in temperature, forming a thermal inversion, followed by an atmospheric duct. This creates a mirage called a Fata Morgana, a series of upright illusions and upside-down illusion. The upright are a colorless whitish-grey, and the upside-down are a dark, colorless black-grey. As this illusion completely distorts the target's perception, it causes a complete inability to read Jack's movements, and a possible mental breakdown due to the sheer overwhelming visual stimuli. However, due to the extreme effect, the technique has an equally extreme strain of Jack, burning up unbelievable amounts of sugars and calories, to the point of near-collapse. As well, the mirage has one fatal weakness, which is also what allows Jack to be unaffected by it. When viewed through a colored filter, such as a Jack’s black-tinted glasses, the illusion loses it’s effect.
