Each material has a special cost that is added the the price of anything made from it, listed on the description. Anyone can contribute to the list by filling out the appropriate form in the Submissions board. The numbers following the name of each material is a rarity, which follows a standard one-to-ten scale, with ten as the rarest.

[nospaces] [attr="id","infoTem"] [attr="id","blokTitle"] [attr="class","temBlok"] [attr="class","temTitle"]Kairoseki [7] [attr="id","blokLast"] [attr="class","temBlok"] [attr="class","temTitle"]General Information [attr="class","temWrap"] As an ore, Kairoseki is much like iron in appearance, only mottled blue and gray. Once refined, it appears as a silvery metal with very faint lines of blue coloring. [break][break] [attr="class","temSect"]Special Properties Kairoseki is a strange mineral with an energy wavelength similar to that of the sea, and has the unique property of negating the powers (But not the drawbacks) of Devil Fruits upon contact with a person who's eaten one. When used as a lining for the hulls of ships, it provides a sort of protection from Sea Kings, who can't see or detect the ships above them.

[nospaces] [attr="id","infoTem"] [attr="id","blokTitle"] [attr="class","temBlok"] [attr="class","temTitle"]Adam Wood [7] [attr="id","blokLast"] [attr="class","temBlok"] [attr="class","temTitle"]General Information [attr="class","temWrap"] A glorious, extravagant material gathered from the legendary Treasure Tree Adam, a very rare cultivar of tree that takes centuries to grow to full size, and has magnificent bright-gold bark, and deep blue-green leaves. The wood itself is very gorgeous in appearance, having a golden color with a very slight shimmer in sunlight. [break][break] [attr="class","temSect"]Special Properties The wood of an Adam Tree that has reached three hundred years of age is, by far, the most durable wood in the world, and one of the absolute best materials to use in the crafting of seafaring ships, easily withstanding cannon-fire and rough seas and chaotic storms. The leaves, on the other hand, are a delicacy, with older leaves used in savory dishes as one would use a banana leaf, whereas younger, sweeter leaves are used to make teas.

[nospaces] [attr="id","infoTem"] [attr="id","blokTitle"] [attr="class","temBlok"] [attr="class","temTitle"]Eve Fruit [5] [attr="id","blokLast"] [attr="class","temBlok"] [attr="class","temTitle"]General Information [attr="class","temWrap"] A mysterious fruit that grows from the roots and branches of the Eve Tree that provides air and light to Fishman Isle. The fruit grows from both the branches and the roots, and appears crystalline in form, completely translucent and shimmering by its own light. However, as the fruit collects outside light, it slowly but steadily turns darker and darker, becoming completely opaque black when full. [break][break] [attr="class","temSect"]Special Properties The crystal fruit of the Eve Tree are a wondrous material that soaks in natural light, and once there isn't enough natural light to illuminate the fruit, it releases the collected light in a constant state, acting as a powerful and energy-efficient light source. This, added to the rarity of the fruit which grows only from the single Eve tree, makes it a valuable commodity, but a terrible piece of jewelry. Much like a gem, the Eve Fruits can be carved and cut, and see use as the basis of energy-saving flashlights. However, unlike other fruit, it is entirely inedible, shattering the teeth of those who try to take a bite. Unfortunately, the rest of the tree is rather useless as material, since the normally very rubbery wood stiffens and becomes fragile like glass when cut from the tree, and the leaves crumble in the hand, and leave various irritants.

[nospaces] [attr="id","infoTem"] [attr="id","blokTitle"] [attr="class","temBlok"] [attr="class","temTitle"]Lilith Steel [5] [attr="id","blokLast"] [attr="class","temBlok"] [attr="class","temTitle"]General Information [attr="class","temWrap"] A pitch black metal with a matte finish, with shiny rosettes of scarlet. When refined into ingots, the metal somehow keeps the same color, but the color changes into a more burgundy shade, like congealed blood, when forged into an item, unless alloyed with another metal. [break][break] [attr="class","temSect"]Special Properties Lilith Steel has mysterious properties for a metal, being incredibly sharp and brittle, much like obsidian, but the true power comes from instilling the forged item with some form of special effect, either through a Dial, a Devil Fruit, or some form of magic. When a special effect is used through the item, the effect becomes magnified based on the amount of Lilith Steel, at a rate of +1 times magnitude every three ounces, maxing out at 10 times magnitude at 2 lbs.

[nospaces] [attr="id","infoTem"] [attr="id","blokTitle"] [attr="class","temBlok"] [attr="class","temTitle"]Lucifer Stone [6] [attr="id","blokLast"] [attr="class","temBlok"] [attr="class","temTitle"]General Information [attr="class","temWrap"] A deep red gemstone, with bands of black coloration. Various different cuts can be used when using it, but ruby-cut is the most popular. The stone produces a low, ambient red light constantly. [break][break] [attr="class","temSect"]Special Properties Lucifer Stone is a mysterious crystal, found deep under the earth, that works wonders as a "miracle" energy source. The reason is that the stones produce a strange energy that can power nearly anything, however, the stones need to "feed" on the emotions of humans around them. The stronger the emotions around the stones, the more energy is produced.

[break][break] [attr="class","temSect"]Special Properties The Waters of Eden are a very potent ingredient in many things, including some of the most effective medicines known to man, especially when used alongside Adam Leaves to make a tea. In addition, when dripped onto a red-hot forged weapon, it enhances the properties of the weapon by five fold.

[nospaces] [attr="id","infoTem"] [attr="id","blokTitle"] [attr="class","temBlok"] [attr="class","temTitle"]Emberstone [6] [attr="id","blokLast"] [attr="class","temBlok"] [attr="class","temTitle"]General Information [attr="class","temWrap"] A bright scarlet metal, completely pure in its color in both raw and refined forms. However, at times, the color is hard to see, because when exposed to air, the metal blazes with an intense flame. Because of this nature, it is incredibly hard to mine Emberstone, due to risk of gas explosions in the mines. [break][break] [attr="class","temSect"]Special Properties As said, Emberstone will burn with an unending flame when exposed to air, which can only be extinguished by dunking the entirety of the metal in water, or within an airtight seal. However, the metal is incredibly sturdy, being immune to rust and nearly impossible to chip. Unfortunately, it has some difficulty holding an edge, so it is usually either alloyed or paired with another metal.

[nospaces] [attr="id","infoTem"] [attr="id","blokTitle"] [attr="class","temBlok"] [attr="class","temTitle"]Bloodwood [6] [attr="id","blokLast"] [attr="class","temBlok"] [attr="class","temTitle"]General Information [attr="class","temWrap"] A dark crimson wood, cut from trees grown in soil soaked in the blood of battle. Curiously, literally every part of the tree is red, from the grainy wood, to the six-pointed leaves, to the stony, bulbous fruit, to the sticky, blood-like sap. [break][break] [attr="class","temSect"]Special Properties Bloodwood is a curious substance, growing harder and more dense when exposed to shed human blood, but only if the blood is shed in battle. The fruit is entirely inedible, containing dangerous levels of heavy metals naturally found in human blood. Strangely, the sap can actually be used as a universal substitute in blood transfusions, being almost exactly identical to O- blood.
