Description: This devil fruit enables the user to create, control, and transform into sand, essentially turning the user into a Sand Human ( (砂人間 Suna Ningen). This essentially makes the user immune to having sand used against him, usually either by blinding him or filling his lungs. Another ability this fruit imparts to the user is the ability to drain moisture from any living or non-living creature bar metallic or ferrous substances, making the former wither away or the latter crumble to dust and sand. Like most logia users, he can fly by turning his lower body into his element in order to eliminate most of his weight.

Like all devil fruits, this fruit imparts the usual devil fruit weaknesses of being submerged in still water and kairoseki. However, this devil fruit has an additional weakness wherein the user is turned solid when drenched with water.

• ▶ Alphaios (Changing) – This technique allows the user to turn his body partially or fully into sand. In sand form, attacks just go through him for the most part, rendering them useless. He can also slip away from attacks or go through small gaps and cracks while in sand form. However, drenching him with water while in this form turns himself solid and vulnerable to attack. Heat will also turn the sand into glass, which he must disintegrate or shatter before being able to move his body again.
  
• ▶ Aella (Whirlwind) – Apollo summons a tornado of sand, which can vary in size and strength according to his wishes. It can be weak enough to be mildly irritating or strong enough to send multiple people flying and shred even steel. Another variation of this can be used to drain moisture from living beings, with plants and non-sentient animals being instantaneous while sentient creatures take time depending on their size and amount of exposure to the sandstorm.
  
• ▶ Aiolos (Quick-shifting) – Apollo is able to compact or loosen any sand that he wields, including the sand that makes up his body, thus becoming able to alter his density at will. Thus he can become as hard as stone (like sandstone), loosen himself up enough to become invulnerable to attack, or somewhere in between. This is often used to increase the power of his physical attacks or help him evade attacks from the opponent.
  
• ▶ Anubis (Royal Child) – Apollo swings his arm and leaves behind a crescent-shaped trail of sand behind it. Anything not sentient hit by this trail of sand is instantly robbed of all moisture, while anything hit by this trail of sand loses over half of its moisture on contact.
  
• ▶ Apostolos (Messenger) - As an innate ability of his fruit and a representation of his connection with his element, Apollo is able to sense anything that is moving through sand in a radius of 80 meters. He can also send sand into the air for the same effect.
  
• ▶ Azarias (Help of God) – Apollo sends sand up into the air and forms a large cloud with it. Then he compresses the sand in the cloud into clumps and then makes them rain on the enemy, damaging them and covering them with sand at the same time. The amount of damage depends on the size and hardness of the sand clumps falling from the sky.
  
• ▶ Danae (Parched) – Apollo can drain the moisture out of anything through touch. In non-living creatures like rock, this usually makes them crumble into dust and sand, while in living creatures like plants and animals this makes them wither away, which usually kills them in the process. He can also control the rate of drain to a certain point, with full freedom on non-sentient creatures and limited freedom on sentient creatures. It is important to note that sentient creatures take more time to drain moisture from, thus needing to restrain them while doing this. Metallic and ferrous substances cannot be affected by this ability.
  
• ▶ Hades (Unseen) – Apollo can use his dehydration ability to drain the moisture out of the ground via physical contact with it, turning huge areas into desert wastelands. He has learned enough control with this ability to be able to control the radius and extent of its effects, from just making the land dry and parched to the desert wastelands mentioned. It can also cause the area around him to crumble and cave in, causing enemies to fall to their deaths.
  
• ▶ Hermione (Of the Earth) – This allows Apollo to change the composition of the sand he creates into anything he wishes as long as it still qualifies as sand. This enables him to change the color of his sand by changing the content of it, into colors like black, pink, yellow, gray, white, and the normal beige. He can even mix it up if he wished. The quality of abrasion –and therefore damage produced- can be changed as well by changing sand content and grain size as long as they remain in the parameters of typical sand.
  
• ▶ Kaisar (Severed) – Apollo changes one or both hands into a blade of sand. He stabs it along the ground like Karme, only the destruction it causes as it splits anything that gets in its way is even greater and faster due to the larger blade and the more focused and extreme erosion created by the blade of sand. This can split reinforced buildings in half with its power and can be used to block attacks as well. It’s basically Karme on steroids.
  
• ▶ Karme (To Shear) – Apollo changes one hand or both hands into a loose blade of fast-moving sand and stabs it into the ground, extending it along the ground and splitting anything that gets in its way including the very ground itself through extreme and focused erosion created by the blade of sand. This technique is powerful enough to split a man in half.
  
• ▶ Kassandra (She who entangles men) – Apollo sends a flurry or a blast of sand towards his opponent and encases them in it. Alternatively, if there is a lot of sand in the air for any reason he can mix his own sand in them and then use the combination to encase them in sand. Encasing the opponent immobilizes them unless they have a method to get out. This technique is used as the basis for several others and is often used to capture or kill.
  
• ▶ Klytie (Famous) – Like with Karme, Apollo changes one or both of his hands into a loose blade of sand and stabs it onto the ground. However, it is different in that it forms a giant pit of quicksand instead of cutting things in its path. Anyone sucked into the pit is buried alive and vulnerable to any other of Apollo’s sand techs. The moved sand can be taken away via underground rivers that Apollo can detect with his ability, moving them somewhere else, or absorbing them. This move can only be done in a desert or a desert-like terrain (meaning a place with a lot of sand).
  
• ▶ Leonidas (Lion’s Son) – Apollo gathers a swirling mass of extremely dense sand and hurls it at his opponent, causing a massive shockwave upon impact. He can shape this mass into any form he desires though its natural form is a sphere. Its most infamous form –and Apollo’s favorite form- is that of a roaring lion head, thus its name, though enemies and allies alike have this strange tendency of calling it Fist of the Beast King.
  
• ▶ Skylla (Tear and Rend) – This is an altered form of Karme wherein Apollo forms several solid blades with fan-shaped edges instead of one large blade of sand. Like with Karme, these blades extend across the ground and splits everything in its way, including the ground itself and anything on it. A very strong blow is enough to reduce these blades back to sand.
  
• ▶ Sophronios (Self-controlled) – This requires Aiolos to be used to turn Apollo’s entire body or parts of it into sand. Once that is done, Apollo basically has free reign in shaping his body or parts of it into anything he can imagine, like larger versions of his limbs, sand imitations of other people, weapons like hammers and swords, items like chairs and tables. He can even alter his body to do stretching, flattening, elongating, deforming, expanding, compressing, and much more.
  
• ▶ Thanatos (Death) – Like with Hades, this technique allows the user to dry up the ground around him into a desert wasteland. However, not only the ground is affected by the dehydration ability. Anything and everything that isn’t metallic or ferrous on said ground is also dried up and turned into sand in the process, including people and buildings. Sentient creatures like people are slower to drain, but the entire process of dehydration is faster aside from the sentient creatures. Thus, this is considered more dangerous than Hades.
  
• ▶ Theodotos (God-given) – This ability allows Apollo to assimilate more sand for his use by making and dispersing his sand over a sandy area and mixing them in it. He can then either pull the sand in to augment himself or to use the sand he had assimilated as is on the ground for his other techniques. The sand is not considered part of his body unless he pulls it into himself.
