Shipwreck of a shipwright (mission)

Inside the stores, Violet and Fishbones (her carronade) had loaded up a transport cart high with freshly-made repair supplies. Tossing the last load into the cart, she looked about once more, something within the overseer's office catching the bluenette's eye.

Walking up to the door, she heard someone scurrying around inside. Hefting the loaded carronade up, a wicked smile covered her features as she called out, pound enough to be heard by the red-head outside.

I'M RESPECTING YOUR RIGHT TO PRIVACY BY ASKING TO COME IN, BUT ASSERTING MY INSANITY BY FIRING A CANNON POINT-BLANK AT THE DOOR![/b][/i]

Giving a split second, she did exactly that, the cannon's report ringing out over the entire area. Stepping over the edge of the shattered door, she saw a fancy-dressed man clutching shiny blue paper. Grabbing the paper quickly, Vi dashed back to the cart, pushing it out the main door and calling out to Yumi.

"Look! I got pretty blue paper! Also I think there's a crazy guy talking to a snail in there!

As Yumi jumped into the cart, Violet tossed Fishbones in after the red-head and began pushing, grinding the wheels into motion and towards the docks. Pouting at the reprimand the pale-skinned psychopath replied.

B-b-but it was blue! And pretty! Besides aren- HEY OUTTA THE WAY! Crazy-person business here!

Pushing the cart harder, Violet effectively blew them through a half-formed blockade the marines had been setting up at the exit to the supply dump. While this meant that the two thieves would not have to fight the ENTIRE base's compliment of guards, it DID mean that the group at the gate knew exactly where they were headed now.

Suddenly finding themselves on a slight downhill, Violet hopped onto the cart and quickly began loading Fishbones, punching down a large quantity of blackpowder before tossing a few handfuls of damaged nails as the cart rolled down the hill, people panicking and diving out of the way as their ride rocketed by.

"As I was sayin'... aren't blueprints really worth a lot tho? We could sell them! Or better yet, build them!

Finishing the reload of Fishbones, Violet wadded to the front of the cart, holding onto the edge of the cart as Yumi abandoned cart. Tongue sticking out of the corner of her mouth, Violet took her new mission to heart, trying to turn the cart without a real steering wheel.

"•Violet! This thing can't be controlled from here! We are going to fly off the docks!•

-Really? I thought this was a wheel!-

•That is the edge of the cart you psychopath!•

-Okay~ off we go then!-"

Hopping off the front of the cart, Vi pressed her hands against the cart and began trying to run against the motion of the cart. Boots smoking from the friction, her legs flexed and press back against the ground with what little traction she had, working a a crud break to the cart.The sudden deceleration, though, cause Fishbones to tip over and begin to fall. With a shout Vi grabbed an edge of the carronade, managing to keep the barrel of the gun from falling.

However, the fuse line rubbed against the stone floor hard enough to light without anyone noticing.

Finally bringing the cart to a stop, Vi had just enough time to heft Fishbones onto her shoulder before the Cannon fired suddenly, spraying nails, smoke, and burning wool down a side alley leading to this area of the docks, thankfully not the one Yumi was approaching from.

The unfortunate marines in that alley though, are a full load of the flak, three of the leading marines thrown bodily back by the force of the blast, the remaining three marines shielded from the worst by the human shields before them. The sudden escalation of weapons did make them reconsider their head-on approach, giving Vi enough time to hide behind some crates and start loading the Cannon again, swearing Fishbones out for going off without her permission.

Now, many people would have gotten behind cover because they knew bullets would HURT. Not Vi. She only did it because she saw the chance for fun. One fist in Fishbones, Vi suddenly stood up and cracked a boot against the side of a crate, revealing it to have been full of ale bottles.

Ignoring the three bullets that buzzed around her, she would lean over and grab one, shoving one, then two bottles into the carronade. As Yumi dove behind her crate she kneeled again, cackling madly as the question of the plan came up. Looking her red-headed captain in the eye she tipped Fishbones over slightly, muzzle pointed at the sky and replied.

"Well I dunno about you, but I'm gonna count to three then run like hell!

Firing the cannon, Vi followed the arcs of the two heavily-cracked jugs fly into the air. She had placed just enough powder in the cannon to lob the jugs up and over, making them shatter upon landing on their target. While no marines were hurt by the shot, there was now a LOT of rum covering some barrels of gunpowder that had been stocked on the docks for loading into a ship, barrels which caught fire as soon the flaming wadding from the shot landed onto the explosive containers. Vi meanwhile braced herself for the blast, giggling as she began counting down.

"Onnnnneeee~<3!"

Laughing in the way only the Trudy insane can, Violet let herself get pulled on board the cart, holding Fishbones by the muzzle aaas Yumi began pushing. Looking back at the explosion, Violet flinched as some slivers of shrapnel pierce red her completely unprotected body, her warped mind taking it in as pleasure as the pale shipwright suddenly spun, swinging Fishbones out like a baseball, nailing one marine who had attempted to hop onto her cart of supplies.

Once that pest was felt with, she laid Fishbones down and pulling out her own flintlocks, Violet unloaded the four barrels at trio of marines in front of them. Mostly because she was a terrible shot only two shots hit the group, each one falling with años oversized shot in the chest, leaving one last marine between them and freedom. Ducking behind the edge of the cart she looked at Yumi and asked.

"Hey, ya got that guy? I'm out!"

"Hey! To be fair these bullets don't fit in the pistols! I took them from Rose's guns~!"

Hopping off the cart, Vi helped Yumi pull up the gangplank, waveing goodbye to the marines as the ship began to sail off.
Ducking her head as a couple of parting shots cracked out from the marines, Violet glomped Yumi, giving a happy squeal of delight as the docks shrunk behind them. Laughing happily she declared.

"Best. Day. Out. Ever~! Did you see how pretty those barrels blew up! Besids that crazy dude talking to a snail, it was awesum~! We even got blue paper thingys!!! It's always so much fun going off-wifey with you~!"

Letting her go she'd start offloading the materials from the boat, looking about for the pile of blue papers she'd stolen from that fancy-dressed-person-guy. Spinning about she squealled happily before noticing the doodles on the paper, face suddenly going serious with interest as her mind finally took in the drawings tshe was looking at.

"Hey, Yumi, lookit dis!"

Grabbing her captain's wrist and physically dragging them into their the captain's room, Vi placed the papers on the table placing shells from her bra to act as paper weights. Growing giddy with excitement she began to point out things across the various blueprints, shifting them so that the parts started overlapping before holding the entire thing up against the window.

"L-look! This here is a cannon mounting, a really big one, and this! This here is the compartment to hold heavy-duty munitions, like I'm saying like the bullet-thingies you and Rose use but like, each one 200-pounds! This thinga-mambobber! It's the bracings for a docking bay! And this skeleton is the side-view blueprints for a ship of the line! If you put it all together it's a ship like I've never even seen before, like one of a kind~<3!"

Twisting away from the overlaid blueprints she waved to the remaining pieces of paper.

"And they all have the special seal-thingy that marks them as uncopied, unedited, original blueprints! No wonder they liked us! We just stole their fancy new toys!!!"

Squealing with delight she began dancing and singing a random song throughout the room, the pale girl's voice ringing out as she randomly pulled lyrics from the three or four songs she heard people on the ship singing nonsensically.
